What we do with your details
Short, because we do very little with them.
What we collect
If you fill in a form on this site we collect what you type into it: the type of work you need, your postcode, your phone number, when you need someone, and optionally your name, email address and a description of the job. Nothing else.
Why we collect it
To reply to you and price your job. That is the only reason. We do not sell it, share it with other contractors or lead generation companies, or add you to a mailing list.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase and are readable only by us. They are not visible to other visitors to this site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for six years, because we are required to keep business records, and because a guarantee is not much use if we have thrown away the job details.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no third party tracking script on it. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@farnboroughcontracting.co.uk or ring 01252 650804 and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Waste transfer notes
Where we remove waste we are required to keep a copy of the transfer note for two years, and that note includes the address the waste came from. We keep those for the two years and no longer.
